Kray Van Kirk is an Alaskan singer-songwriter, delivering performances that the Borderline Folk Club in New York called "...what every singer-songwriter should aspire to." His warm and intimate concerts on six- and twelve-string guitar have received critical praise and enthusiastic receptions from the house concert circuit to festivals and larger stages. His songs are rich tapestries of myth (The Queen of Elfland, Three Days to England), passionate echoes of the world (A Chorus of Stones, Dust),...
is pleased to invite exceptional indie musicians and troubadours to perform folk, blues and jazz in our comfortable venue. We open our home to musicians we might not otherwise hear and supportive guests in search of uncommon entertainment.
Our relaxed house concerts provide 1) outstanding musical talent, 2) delicious potluck dining and 3) the camaraderie of like-minded attendees. Where else can you enjoy a VIP pre-concert dinner plus onstage seating, all for a suggested donation and a potluck dish?
Potluck dinners are part of the event for our concerts, when guests and artists share a casual meal and conversation before we get down to music. Intermission is time for coffee, another bit of dessert and a chance to buy CDs. Then it's back to the 2nd set of music.
Our concert spaces seat 50 indoors with larger groups - up to 80 in good weather - outside. Indoors or out, everyone comes to experience outstanding music and artists who may be just a moment from stardom. ["Remember when we saw them before they got (more) famous?"] Come join us.
You're invited to (What is) a House Concert!
