About Our Series:

Kay and Jack Douglas invite you to enjoy live music in our living room.

Hot Sauce House Concerts presents talented musicians in an intimate, relaxed setting. These concerts are intended to support the musicians and the community, not us. All the money we collect goes to the performers. While these concerts are officially by invitation only (for legal reasons), we love to hear from new people who are interested in attending. Just send us an email at kay.douglas@verizon.net, and we’ll reserve your seat and send you information on how to reach our house.

Seating is limited to thirty guests, so RSVP early to make sure to get a seat. If you have to cancel, please let us know as there may be a waiting list. We host a dinner before the show featuring delicious home-made fare (including at least one vegetarian option). After the show, we serve dessert and coffee/tea.

Please note that we have several cats, so if you’re allergic, you might want to take antihistamines or leave your nose at home.

Why do we host house concerts? To be honest, for purely selfish reasons. Jack and I have spent countless days traveling around the country to hear our favorite kinds of music in congenial settings. Finally, the penny dropped, and we realized the best place of all would be in our very own home. Not only do we get to hear great music, but we get a chance to chat with the musicians, mingle with old friends, and make new ones.
