Michael Terry of Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse Passes

We received the news April 14th.

Michael Terry, our esteemed Uncle Calvin’s leader and dedicated friend of
folk musicians everywhere, died this morning after a year-long bout
with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with wife Kendra and both their
extended families. We will all miss him dearly.

Our thanks to Mike Hall and the volunteers who supported Michael Terry during the good and great years, as well as the recent difficult times.

My guess is that the next few shows will be particularly moving. You might attend.

Folk Music Day - A timely idea?

In May of last year we celebrated the first House Concert Month, and engaged many of our hosts to put on special events, and helped a few newbies experience the joy of hosting or attending such events.
