Preferred day: ______

Second Choice day:_______

If you are not a member of ConcertsInYourHome.com, but feel that house concerts are an important part of your future, we encourage you to have a look here.

These conferences are a great opportunity to connect with good people (venues, hosts and artists) and to forge friendships that could lead to great music/business opportunities. Join us.

Best,

Fran Snyder

PS - I will not attend Far-West this year because of a festival performance in Arkansas. Please join me in thanking Jack Brown for running our showcase room and our booth in the exhibit hall.

PPS - What is a guerilla showcase? Each conference sets aside late night hours and a block of hotel rooms that can be used for showcasing. The people (hosts/artists/organizations) who rent those rooms schedule artists to perform unplugged in a casual format, and they allow conference attendees to come in and out to check out the performances. Fun, hectic, challenging, and sometimes very productive!

Hosts helping hosts - here’s a win-win situation.

A new host joins CIYH and wants to find house concerts in their area they can attend. So they look on our calendars for upcoming shows in their area, and email an “invitation request” to see a show. This way, they connect with another host, pick up some house concert tips, and make some new friends.

Would you like to have an extra few seats filled at your next event? Would you like to meet (and help/inspire) new hosts who are just getting started? Log in and list your upcoming events!

Hosts helping artists - Hosts! Please recommend your favorite acts! So far we’ve added recommendations to 35 of our 600+ artists.

Your comments can be so helpful to these artists and to the hosts who’d like to consider booking them. Can you muster up a sentence or two for a few of your favorite (hosted) artists? I think you can.

tinychair25Major CIYH improvements:

Yes! The new advanced artist search page is now a fabulous music discovery tool.
