Then I moved to Seattle, mainly because I like sunshine and don't drink coffee, and formed a rock band called Garrison Frost. Over the course of a year and a half, we played tons of cool shows, got played on a lot of radio stations, and wrote some great rock songs. We started to get some "industry attention." We were told we were good, but didn't have a hit.

Gove Scrivenor,has been playing professionally for 45 years all over the country..He has appeared on Austin City Limits twice. Guests on his cds include Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith and John Prine.
"My show consists of various styles and influences ranging from Son House to the Carter Family. I suspect I'm known as well for my foot stomping "chair dancin" energy on stage. I have also written chart records for a # of country acts in Nashville".
