Celtic Dreamtime Show
Claire performs songs from her CDs, including her latest "Songs From The Harp Room" dedicated to Mrs Ferriter, Claire’s harp and song teacher at Sion Hill school many years ago. You’ll hear Claire’s interpretations of favourites like “The Spinning Wheel”, “Galway Bay” and “Cockles And Mussels” along with mythical and dreamlike songs like “Sitting In A Green Field”, “Dedication” and Irish poetry turned into songs like “To A Child Dancing In The Wind” from a W.B. Yeats poem.
John performs stories of myth and lore, including some he learned during his school years many years ago, through the adventures of Pottering Harry McCrory of Ballycrory and Ogma's Tale of Trees. Tales of Brigid, Lugh, Maeve, Morrigan, Dagda and deeds of the Tuatha De Dannan, and deeds of the Deravids and Culdees as Harry travels with his “timeless machine” with his friends Pat The Fox, Mary The Hare, Poraic The Toad, Caitlin The Cat and other friends.
