Legend has it that he burst from the womb singing, & taking the doctor's pat on the back as encouragement, has been singing ever since.
Pioneered his first house concert for a luau of California Unitarians while still in college around 1968. More recently, his 2002 HC in Mumbai/Bombay was graced by the presence of Mahatma Gandhi's grandson--in the very front row!
